Al integrar tecnolog\u00eda led, sensores y telegesti\u00f3n, las redes de alumbrado p\u00fablico permiten a los municipios reducir el consumo energ\u00e9tico, monitorear el tr\u00e1fico y actuar como herramientas activas de videovigilancia.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">La Secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda (Sener) y la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional para el Uso Eficiente de la Energ\u00eda (Conuee) impulsan desde hace m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada el Proyecto Nacional de Eficiencia Energ\u00e9tica en Alumbrado P\u00fablico Municipal, dise\u00f1ado para estados y municipios. Su prop\u00f3sito es sustituir luminarias ineficientes por tecnolog\u00eda led, reducir el consumo el\u00e9ctrico y mejorar las finanzas p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Los informes de Cuenta P\u00fablica y Desarrollo Urbano destacan los puntos clave de esta tecnolog\u00eda: eficiencia y ahorro al sustituir el alumbrado tradicional por led, en cumplimiento de normativas como la NOM-031-ENER-2019; mayor seguridad p\u00fablica, al reducir puntos oscuros que favorecen accidentes e incidencia delictiva; e integraci\u00f3n a las ciudades inteligentes, al convertir simples puntos de luz en dispositivos interconectados.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">La Conuee tambi\u00e9n documenta un alto uso de iluminaci\u00f3n ahorradora en M\u00e9xico, donde la tecnolog\u00eda led ocupa un lugar entre las principales opciones para el uso eficiente de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Las luminarias inteligentes representan la evoluci\u00f3n del alumbrado p\u00fablico hacia una red tecnol\u00f3gica integral. Para un municipio, funcionan como el sistema nervioso urbano: permiten un ahorro energ\u00e9tico de hasta el 70 por ciento y transforman las calles en espacios m\u00e1s seguros y conectados.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">De acuerdo con informes municipales, los gobiernos buscan modernizar el alumbrado p\u00fablico sin inversi\u00f3n directa, mediante esquemas que recuperan el costo a trav\u00e9s de los ahorros generados. Estos proyectos impulsan la transici\u00f3n hacia <em>smart cities<\/em>, fortalecen la seguridad p\u00fablica, reducen el gasto energ\u00e9tico y disminuyen las emisiones de carbono.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">En este <em>ranking<\/em> presentamos los 10 municipios que destacan en la implementaci\u00f3n de proyectos de alumbrado p\u00fablico inteligente para mejorar la seguridad y la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica. En menos de un a\u00f1o, Toluca sum\u00f3 18 mil luminarias con esta tecnolog\u00eda.
